Trump is an insurrectionist who has no legal right to be president, his administration is illegal; even if it wasn't he is a fascist that must be stopped. Democracy is a negotiation and if that negotiation leads to the collapse of democracy, stripping of human rights, then negotiations have failed.

The sad reality is, the overwhelming majority of Americans don't know there's a voter for the Speaker going on, don't care & won't be able to name him after the vote. This is what happens in a country where civics education is no longer universal. Its absence lets darkness settle in over democracy.
