In summer 2001, I was in a federal court jury pool in San Diego for a man charged with transporting marijuana. Then, 9/11 happened. Two 9/11 terrorists were living in San Diego that summer. I often marvel at the foolishness of charging people with pot offenses when terrorists were living among us.
Hemp seeds are a good source of protein as well.

Side note: In February of 2018, my dad was diagnosed with colon cancer. Fortunately, since it was discovered quickly, they managed to stop it and save him. When the chemotherapy became too much for him, he turned to smoking marijuana and credits that for beating his battle with cancer.
