I can’t quite think of how to adequately describe this ride today so I’m stealing Eric’s words, plus a few pics from me.

If you get overwhelmed by the horror of this moment, just think of 1,000–10,000 (rough estimate) cyclists in Minneapolis and Saint Paul riding in frigid weather to memorialize Alex Pretti. We are not alone in our sorrow and we are fighting back.

One of the first places I found friendship and community in Minneapolis after moving here was on group bike rides. I’m endlessly glad we are doing this today, and to see all of the rides happening across the world.
