A first attempt at sketching David Lynch. He will be missed. #davidlynch
The pic of the street corner was done with a 0.4 black stabilo pen followed by a water brush for the wash effect.
In the more recent sketch of the back of a house w/ adjacent brick building I used Diamine (sapphire blue and celadon cat for green); & shading with Tom’s Studio ink “mallard”
Black ink sketch of the back of a house with an adjacent brick building. 2 toned colors with deep blue purple creating shadows at the bottom and pale aqua green on top. Split image drawing with vertical white line going up the center suggestive of pictures in a scrapbook

two starlings on a feeder in a rare moment of peace
a starling in profile sitting on a feeder. it is perfectly still, but two other starling blurs are visible.
starling invasion lasted all of 20 minutes
and then they moved on and the house sparrows juncos Cardinals and doves returned to their normal low key squabbling at the feeder.

view of new York City from an amtrak train. a small shadowy park is in the foreground. a wall of skyscrapers in the back, enveloped in mist and rain. a single bird can be seen flying towards the city.
massive housing projects beyond a green bridge. the bridge separates the buildings from their reflections in an eerily still body of water. a small flock of blurry birds is in the foregeound. everything is bright grey and rainy.
