A clear demonstration of being a rockstar. He was also walking 5 meters ahead of her.

That’s great! I wish my celebrity encounter at an airport (Stockholm Arlanda) was as exciting for me. I had to move aside, swiftly, also around 20 years ago, when Yngwie Malmsteen was running late. Best part about that encounter was that he was carrying nothing, while his then gf had 4 or 5 bags.
Ha! I posted about this album just a few days ago. Still one of the most important of my entire life.
That’s great. Will you be attending?
Drop an album that was important to you when you were 19
It is, trust me. 😘
Ok, I’ll watch this time. 😁
You’re gonna love your 50s. 😁
I'm not either. But boy do I have thoughts. 😄
I'm loving it so far, though. One chapter a day was a terrible idea.
First time I decided to watch all the movies chronologically, sometime in the late 80’s, I was so fed up with Roger that when it was time for Octopussy I just thought f this, life’s too short. 😁
The one Bond movie I’ve never ever watched.
Sounds great. Can you get ParkerNotes to post here too?
You must be pretty excited about the return of the pie maker then? I think it has been confirmed?
#NowListening Love all these Soul Jazz Studio One comps! Can play them all day.
Various – Studio One Soul 2 (Soul Jazz, 2006)
Reggae / Rocksteady
Pretty much everything Soul Jazz does is amazing. The New Orleans Funk compilations, the Boombox ones, the Brazilians… huge fan.
Tell me there’s two more going on the right side of those two. It’s a four coffees type of morning for me. 😁
I actually logged it too yesterday. Apparently all the prior 728 times I’ve watched it, it was before Letterboxd.
😁
A Love Supreme. First Jazz album I ever bought and still as fresh to me today, more than 30 years later.
Way before my time too, but I’ve been a Real Madrid fan my entire life.
All time front four? Personally I would put Alfredo Di Stéfano first before even considering the other three.
Still an amazing album, and my second favourite rap group ever, after The Roots.
Deloused in the Comatorium is still one of the best albums I’ve ever heard. Listened to it a few months ago, for the first time in years, and it’s still astonishing.
Sounds good to me. We’ll be in touch.
I might actually join you in this, it’s definitely in my reading list.
My candidate for best debut album of all time. Possibly tied with Astral Weeks.
Speedy recovery!

And party!
Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag!
Save me some cake! 🎂
Thank you. Your posts on your progress have made me want to tackle it again. Marcel won't defeat me this time. 😄
