I suspect a lot of corporate accounts have two different teams behind the scenes arguing whether to a) keep their presence to avoid squatters coming in and sucking up big name accounts for brand-damaging purposes or b) delete their account and be rid of the whole, rancid mess.
I kept my twitter acct up until about 2 months ago, mostly so I could amplify the signal of the fewer-and-far-between sane voices still on the platform and laugh-respond to the fascists and fascist-adjacent. Finally moved to bluesky and haven't looked back.
And I'll deadname twitter until I die.
