My campus is on lockdown because of a shooter threat. How is anyone functional emotionally right now?

100% Come on guys, let’s be better. Sigh.
Been a complicated few weeks so I’m very glad to have a baseball break. Dad and I are on opposite sides of this (I can’t root for my hometown team until they stop the chop). At least someone will be happy at the end of this and during is just lovely here at Truist (however Cobb County). Go Os
I was once discussing the relative merits of the various Ma & Pa Kettle movies at Tower Video on Sunset Blvd. Ralph Fiennes was in the store and was obviously eavesdropping on the conversation. I then asked him what he thought and he agreed the Ma & Pa Kettle at the Fair was a solid choice.
Full props to the guy with the cow hat with the shrimp on top. Ifykyk
Mooooo
Come on O’s! I have tix to all three games and would be very grateful for a win tonight.
Let’s keep it going O’s. Bought tix to all three games, drove up to Sacto. You guys don’t owe me anything, but I could use some good right now. Tonight’s view is the same as Adley’s.
Keep it going
O Canada! Y’all are awesome. Can we come live with you? I’m trying to learn French, really like the Leafs and Jays, and love Nova Scotia ciders. LMK.
Let’s all put our gloves on our heads.
Gorgeous calico cat
She’s lovely. Here’s my equally lovely Bizzy.
At least we’re not the Braves. Cold comfort admittedly.
Slightly different rhythm, but same idea for the O’s.
I want every day for everyone to be like opening day for Adley Rutchsman 2025: playing the best game in an actual democracy, getting the offense/positive right more than 1/2 the time, & making good decisions to protect his team and pitcher. Happy opening day to all who observe, especially Birdland.
No question re: hockey. Good most everything else though—124 NCAA championships. Plus the whole academic thing too.
LOL. We Bruins are good humans.
Totally agree about the good guy part, but he’s a UCLA alum.
What's brome grass? Sounds dangerous.
Which is?!
Oh, Falcons. They will never stop falconing.
My favorite story about her was her purportedly saying to an Episcopal cardinal carrying an incense censor during a high church service, “darling I love your dress, but your purse is on fire.”
This week is beyond comprehension. I’m focusing on February 13th. Orioles pitchers and catchers report. Spring will come again and baseball gives us a little solace.
Sneks and danger noodles don’t get the love and credit they deserve.
Bestest boy with his ball.
Channeling The Leftovers is definitely an option.
Hockey jerseys work.
