Most liberal cis people didn't even know who Kirk was when he fot profiled by Newsome or before he died. If he'd just had a heart attack, they wouldn't know now. But we have to pay attention to these extremist turds who call for our genocide.

Cis people who did some thinking before coming out to themselves as cis tend to be some of the most reliable, honourable and secure people I’ve ever known.

Movie? Photography project? What are you up to?

Less and less regretting that I stopped watching MCU stuff. I had a comic review blog for over a decade too and did all the cons (including organizing one) and tons of fan stuff. Now I read stuff less and less too.

To Tell My Disabled Stories, I Needed to Unlearn Ableist Workshop Critiques - Electric Literature I masked in workshop and on the page, even as it invalidated my lived experience

For @electriclit.bsky.social I wrote about common microaggressions in the ableist writing workshop, ways disabled writers can resist in order to reclaim their stories, and my @sundresspub.bsky.social craft book NERVE.

They mean "wife of Developers! Developers! Developers! guy...."

Or they could say her name.

Or we could outlaw billionaires and save NPR and house everyone and have universal healthcare. To name a few minor projects.

Just imagining meeting Thomas and thanking him for educating me on pubic hair before I had any myself.

(Sure, there are lots of things I'd want to say to him, but he doesn't give a shit, so what could I say that wouldn't get me immediately arrested and leave a fly in his coffee impact.)

If only Liberals had stopped him when he was leaving his pubes on Anita Hill's soda can.

Enormous cactus flower. I’m touching the flower with my hand for scale.

This is one of my favorite cactus flowers. Tricholobivia (Cross between Trichocereus and Lobivia) named “Epicenter”.

Pothos leaves that are green and white (n'joy variety) rooting in water in a Woodinville distillery cup

Pothos leaves that are green and white (n'joy variety) rooting in water in a Woodinville distillery cup

Leaves unfortunately won't grow back. You gotta chop it up and propagate at stem nodes.

Here are a bunch of mine rooting in some water before I plant them. Each piece will grow a whole new vine. You can put directly in soil too.

To make a bushy plant, in a 4" pot, I'll put 15 cuttings.

Book cover for Hot Summer's Prey by Latrexa Nova

Illustrated cover features a seafoam-green sea monster (think The Shape of Water) and a plus-sized woman in a purple bikini. They're in an embrace, and he's dipping her backward.

They are surrounded by a golden frame with seashells. They are underwater, with some coral, a jellyfish, and a nudibranch.

Hot Summer's Prey by Latrexa Nova

A fun book with a sexy sea monster. Nova knows exactly what garden they're playing in.

The beginning was a little rough. Teresa and Pacari have a great push-and-pull between the worlds they live in.

Thank you to It Could Happen Here and @miawong.bsky.social for talking to TNN's @davidforbes.bsky.social about this important issue.

The Catholic Church's horrific trans healthcare ban threatens trans people around the country. It's an injustice that needs *a lot* more attention.
