This is the latest study on motonormativity discussed in this week's @thewaroncars.bsky.social bonus. I was fascinated by the idea of pluralistic ignorance and that a lot of folks think they are in the minority when it comes to wanting safer streets. The trick is in activating that silent majority!

Great picture but behind a paywall! It was my understanding that if a pothole was reported and not fixed in a reasonable time the council responsible would be liable for any incident caused by the pothole.

Fill That Hole Report, view, and discuss local street-related problems.

You can report pot holes and they should get fixed by your council in good time! If it doesn’t you can quite rightly complain!

DCF had a positive meeting with @joefitzsnp.bsky.social and Steven Rome where we were able to raise active travel issues including securing funding for DCC PfE bids!

That was the same in Dundee but @dundeecycling.co.uk managed to Campaign for the NCN routes to get done at the same time as the priority roads. They even bought a narrow truck to fit the paths. LA's are supposed to follow the Sustainable Transport Hierarchy!
