Expanding Jeff's question. Is there any rigorous/legal argument against describing AI as a technology that is fundamentally based in plagiarism? I would argue that there is no use of AI that is not ultimately rooted in intellectual theft.

Hello darlin'
I still have too many Space Dogs prints and would like to rehome many of them so they are now $10 cheaper but with the same amount of dogs.
The thing about Mamdani is that he’s a talented politician but not otherworldly or one in a billion, he’s just a competent guy with popular ideas who ran against an entitled piece of shit and to me it’s a lot more optimistic to imagine 1000 campaigns like his than to view him as a unique phenomenon
Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.
My personal timeline is full of autistic people trying to explain that there isn't more autism than before, it's just that we're better at detecting it, and there's nothing more autistic than hoping explaining something at length will help matters when nobody is really listening.
The way I just snort-laughed 💀💀💀

Buck Woods tells German-speaking Nazis what he thinks of them while performing in France. Somehow feels relevant these days.
From REUNION IN FRANCE, starring Joan Crawford and John Wayne, released on Christmas, 1942.
The most pathetic part about "A.I." is that the people using it don't even own their perceived slave, they're renting it
It is morally wrong to want a computer to be sentient. If you owned a sentient thing, you would be a slaver. If you want sentient computers to exist, you just want to create a new kind of slavery. The ethics are as simple as that. Sorry if this offends
A maroon and gray flyer with a photo of books on shelves in the background. The text reads: “Banned Books Week. Appalachian Prison Book Project. Support the freedom to READ. October 5-11, 2025. Purchase a book from our indie bookstore wish lists and your donation will be matched! @AppalachianPBP.”
At APBP, we’re dedicated to fighting censorship and book bans in prisons and jails across Appalachia and making sure people behind bars have access to the books. 📚
This #BannedBooksWeek, you can support our mission by donating a book from one of our indie bookstore wish lists.

Oh hell yeah. It's @djcharlieblac.bsky.social time at Funktafest!
Bernie was always really good at this—pounding his messaging in speeches, and then pivoting to talking about strategy when appropriate. AOC has gotten a lot of mileage out of forthright strategy talk, particularly on social media.
"Here is our message" and "here is our strategy" are not the same thing, and when you try to contort the latter into the former—"here is our message about what our strategy is"—you wind up insulting anyone who is even halfway paying attention.
And this connects up to something I've been thinking about Jeffries' comments last weekend. If there's anywhere on the planet where you're NOT going to find a persuadable swing voter, it's watching the Sunday morning politics talk shows. That's a place where you talk to your people and the media.
Writing teacher advice for Democratic strategists: Your audience is NEVER everyone, and acting as though it is will lead to generalities that appeal on average but not in specific. You find your audience through specificities. Relying heavily on polls and consultants leads to tepid messaging.

Made a near perfect batch of old fashioned fudge this weekend, during peak summertime.
Ain't no one who can tell me shit this week.
I got the power of 1,000 meemaws coursing thru me.
And part of the reason it's so hard to grasp is that so many of the prominent people who have figured it out aren't willing to say it out loud in public.
Anyway I'm pretty good at drawing stuff. I can prove it. If you need some stuff drawn or know someone who does and there's money involved do please let me know.
Excited to see this collection on the gallery walls of Bloomfield Richwood in Richwood, WV and hear viewers reflections on human interaction with nature.
