It feels really heavy and durable and smooth, and is way better than the alternatives I usually see, elastic lapped over the pouch, or a non elastic bias tape used to bind the edge.

The very soft fuzzy teal inner-threads can barely be seen, with the sturdier metallic purple outer threads poking through (probably uneven because the left side has more layers of fabric to penetrate than the right side, so with equal tension, the right side is a bit looser) The only way to improve the pouch construction would be to use an open seam on the inner pouch lining so none of the seam touches the genitals. This is similar to what Tailends does (though I believe theirs is a bit more like a hem, and is heavier towards the right)
