I doubt I'll be able to actually meet someone I admire to that extent again face to face in a setting where I can actually *talk* to them, nowadays cons that have autograph sessions you can maybe squeeze in a handshake before you gotta move on lol

and overall was very encouraging. I've never been good at clean lineart, so the fact he paints on pencil sketches has always been a huge inspiration and comfort to me! Perhaps one day I'll also be able to do backgrounds like him, but I still have a ways to go.

Still, I'm so happy to have met him.
