As a history anime/manga/game enjoyer and a former touken ranbu player, this place (or Aizu in general) is fantastic. I was so hyped the whole time
I'd want to explore here again one day, but Fukushima is so far away from my place (I rode the shinkansen twice). If it's not because of the conference, I probably won't get the chance to come here.

When I was on my way back by bus, I found this place. I really want to go there, but honestly I have no energy left because of the conference on the previous day
The tower has 5 floors. The first floor is the sword collection. I kept screaming inside, like "OMG IS THAT KANE-SAN???"
The second floor has the history of feudal lords in Aizu and their HELMETS!!
But then I went to the third floor and it was about the Boshin War. The whole floor was tragic

I love this webtoon a lot, but my favorite character... let's just say something really terrible happened. He is not quite dead yet, but yeah he won't wake up or appear again maybe until the story ends (unless on flashback). I can't tell if anyone will even survive

Looking at many jp vs eng discourses (otome, piracy, derivative works, screenshot, etc) on the next platforms makes me realize there are some things they will never agree about due to differences in cultures, values, etc. Their definition of things won't align. But, let's be civil about it, yeah?
So, there's a tweet making the rounds again... Folks are voicing frustrations w/ the use of "otome" in marketing for indie games that don't 100% fit the definition of an otome game, & I do kind of agree. In recent years, "otome" has been heavily used in branding/marketing of indie romance VNs.

These quotes from the last episode were probably my favorites of this patch.
Patch is kinda mid.
Nirvatia is okay because she is a free unit with nice damage (her design doesn't suit her story and personality, though)
But the writing of these citizens is fire.
A lot of things weren't explained, like yea what happened in the reactor 20 years ago.
Anyway, after the last battle against Margaret, I was so happy to see the girls were together again even for a brief time and Margaret was basically a ghost. Even the other dead Carthakians' were there too...
I also like the scene where Jagienka free-falling after she launched her own aircraft as a bullet.
She was saved by... the "spirits" of the people who died during the reactor explosion and Margaret. Even in death they still tried to save someone aaaaa

Jagienka, a Carthakian, and Nirvatia (the patch waifu) who was working for the Forsaken also provided support from the sky.
I love Jagienka a lot. Her design mogs Nirvatia by miles despite being an NPC. She acted like Nirvatia's bitter ex sometimes... But yeah, their #1 will always be Margaret
The MC was fighting at the reactor and they noticed the MC needed help. Li (who was older and wiser) was making the statement like 20 years ago, but this time he would be the only one going. But noooo Carthakians were Carthakians, and they decided to follow him too.
I love this part ugh
I was a bit irritated at Li at first, but really, he was just scared and didn't want to leave his mother behind. But, his mother ended up dying from an attack when he eas away. Also, the fact that he sent those 28812 people to their death (and he didn't) had been eating him up for years
Li was about to give money prize to those who agreed to go back to shut down the reactor, but almost 29k people marched to their death voluntarily, starting from Gregory, to other technicians, engineers, military, and others to stop the reactor from spreading the virus and none of them came back.

This game is making me sad sometimes. The story of this patch is peak. The NPCs are just so great.
