I'd just like to draw everyone's attention to this:

A Dungeon Game is here and it's free! (It's been both of those things for ages tbh)
Explore subterranean depths, face dragons, and discover what lurks beneath. It's classic dungeon crawling with modern design (i.e. it's good).

Every now and then I recall this article with horror

This sounds amazing
A long time ago I live tweeted my way through Cypher Sytem. If you're interested in seeing those posts, they now exist in blog form over on Loot The Room.

Is there some reason why 'The tomato is actually fruit, not a vegetable!' has been a go-to revelation for decades, while the fact that the exact same applies to the cucumber, its unshakable comrade-in-salad, is never brought up?
Also, there's a whole Memoriam sub system depending on *when* the event happened that you want to remember...
I'd usually go Int + relevant skill

I just woke my wife up to tell her about this.
She doesn't seem to see the import.
IT'S ONLY WAITS' FIRST MUSIC SINCE 2011!
Am I right in thinking that only two places in the UK have signed up for #freerpgday this year? And one is literally a local weekly gaming club run out of a community centre.
It is!
I've recently switched from OneNote (which was once great but has now been enshittified) to Notion, which does a lot more.
"Nice kanagroo"
"thanks, it has pockets"
Ok, last one.
I've obviously now fucked my IG algorithm into the ground, but this actually slaps

But yeah, it's totally valid.
I just learnt about them when my IG algorithm dropped a video of a serious musician very seriously breaking down what they were doing and why it was important.
And because I watched it I've seen more and more drummers and guitarists filming themselves watching them
Oh no, I completely agree.
When Green Day first got big I remember reading/listening to a muso struggling with the fact that they were clearly incredibly competent musicians who chose to play 3 chord punk.
(I am not opening the debate on whether GD are punk or not)
I think it's about the emotional truth, which can be found in both performance and writing.
That should say "boomer riff"
Bomber riff is very different and far more metal
In one of their interviews I read, they say that they play the most filthy "Satana sounding bomber riff" they can, then screech "SANTANA" straight afterwards, because they find it hilarious.
And I find it, I don't know, that music professors are going to spend years writing dissertations about it.
I must not buy more TTRPGs when I don't have the players for them I must not buy more TTRPGs when I don't have the players for them I must not buy more TTRPGs when I don't have the players for them
It's the kind of deal that's so good you want to get it even if you're not a fan of Dune or 2d20 (me. I just described me)
What I love is that they're doing all this stuff that's making people sit up and listen really seriously, and in every interview they just say "yeah, we're pissing about and every song is basically designed to make us laugh"
So I'm not sure if they're the new Ween or Butthole Surfers
You might say it's

Just watched the first episode of Ultraviolet, the 1999 C4 vampire show that never says the word vampire, and it's just as good as I remember. All free on All4 in the UK, and it's the good stuff
I might have said this before, but it came up in a stream yesterday: people who say that MÖRK BORG can only do one-shots and not campaigns seem to ignore that the doomsday mechanic—the most defining, distinguishable feature of the game—IS the campaign mode (and it only comes into play in campaigns).
