Also tried to be fancy with contrast and the armour looks turquoise now instead of the standard blue of the rest of the army.

I have slept on #SpaceMarine Heavy Intercessors and Gravis Armour in general. Preparing these for a King of the Colosseum list with other models I’ve never considered or painted before.

I guess these are actual #Ultramarines (though they could stand in for Havocs).

Spent more time painting #Warhammer40K #Ultramarine Terminators than I negotiated with myself. I wanted to spend a basic amount of time with line troops, saving details and effort for characters and centrepieces—it has been about 8 hours over 3 days. Hopefully the next four will be as consistent.

One of my favourite colours to use as a shadow base is @thearmypainter.bsky.social Magecast Magenta. (Magenta has this interesting property being able to be both cool and warm tones.) When are we getting this in a rattle can?
