A preview excerpt of a fic written for the sk8 monster zine: Langa shimmies out of his shirt, eager to press their chests together, and f inds the soft skin scattered with smooth scales. Langa lifts away the covers, plenty warm from the radiating heat of his lover. Reki's eyes glint gold in the low light. Slender dark horns have sprouted up from his brow and back from his temples. His hot breath puffs between pearly, needle-sharp teeth. Amber scales trail down the center of his chest, shimmering and shifting paler the lower they go. Reki shifts anxiously under Langa's gaze. He brings a hand to cover his fanged mouth, revealing instead his fingers tipped in dark claws.
