I don't know. a predator isn't a person who accidentally upsets their partner by crossing a boundary they had no reason to know it was there, apologizes, and corrects the behavior. it's okay and true to life to have characters upset each other briefly when working toward understanding

or that a sexy scenario *could* *potentially* have a consent issue, so they have to go out of their way to establish This Scenario Is Super Respectful and Consensual And Won't Trigger Anyone Involved, Actually even when, again, it's unrealistic

like, people being afraid that their characters will be read as transphobic if they don't immediately use the right pronouns, even if it doesn't make sense in the context, rather than getting corrected, accepting the correction, and doing the right thing next time

I've read/played multiple things in the past year that overcompensate for the opportunity for their characters to make bad decisions. and it's cringe and unrealistic. I have to remember it's okay for bad decisions to be made and grow from and it's better quality work that way.

voices have so much power to override weak/bad translations and show pain that might just seem silly to read (like, screaming and sobbing is always silly written out text form). BB and Iwakura Aria both show this to me by making their MC so much more than their limitations through a voice
