Luckily for the Red Sox there doesn’t appear to be any good teams in the AL this year. There still is plenty of time if this team would just remove its head from its backside.

It’s the inability to do the little things which is most frustrating. What’s the line from Bull Durham? You throw the ball, you hit ball, you catch the ball. Unfortunately those are this team’s biggest weaknesses.

Not going to win many games if when the Sox are finally able to score some runs their pitching gives up runs the next half inning.

They look and play like a team who’s ownership was unwilling to do what it takes to win. You hear a lot in today’s sports about identity. This Red Sox team has no identity. They don’t pitch well, hit well, hit for power, field particularly well and are fundamentally lacking.

You can’t deny, this loss was a total team effort.

As a fan I was hoping this team would be more prepared for the start of the season. It falls on the coaching that they are not.

I forgot Greg Rousseau was even on the team. Hopefully he his healthy this year. He needs to provide a bigger impact.

Why isn’t the US bombing and killing a school full of children a bigger story?

This confirms that Pegula fired McDermott because Sean hurt his feelings somehow and there was no plan in place. This reminds me of how we ended with Kevyn Adams for five and half tortuous years.

Not impressed or excited by any of the names that have been interviewed thus far. I wasn’t against moving on from McDermott. I was just hoping they had a plan when they did. It doesn’t seem like it.
