lastly, the bosses are very fun and the combat feels more polished than the previous entries.

overall i’m loving the game about as much as i thought i would, and i can’t wait to play more tomorrow!

the mouse controls are very nice and my preferred way to play the game, although i’d like to see them add an option to remap the buttons as they use the same layout for all control types, and using a for beams and r for missiles while in mouse mode feels a bit weird.

journalists were definitely over exaggerating about myles mckenzie. he affects the atmosphere about as much as the aurora units did in prime 3 (not that much). i did find him a little annoying when he reminded me of things i already knew a couple times, but overall, he’s ok.

first off: the atmosphere is immaculate. it took me like 30 minutes to get through the first 5 rooms of fury green because i couldn’t stop being in awe of how beautiful this game is.
