Tbh, fair enough, that's a good way to put it. I just handn't considered it before.
No, yeah, I know there are almost as many chaggie fics. I just feel a bit bad that we (myself included) don't give enough attention to the canon shappic fic, because it is in general a very prevalent thing even if not malicious at all. This is not to say what one should or shouldn't do, just my POV.
