'Prosecute ICE' sculpture destroyed outside State Capitol hours after unveiling The sculpture was installed by members of a veterans organization and other community leaders in protest of federal immigration operations.

Unfortunately, the sculpture was destroyed by Jake Lang, who was charged with assaulting an officer with a bat during Jan 6.

Pardoned by Trump, he's now being charged with felony destruction of property.

Two veterans groups paid for the sculpture he destroyed.

Everybody Loses - Book jacket

Lured by the promise of easy money, major league owners & politicians alike embrace online sports betting while ignoring its devastating impacts.

Worth reading: EVERYBODY LOSES shows how sportsbooks destroy the integrity of sports, harm athletes, and drivecountless people to gambling addiction.

The wealth and economic clout of the Chamber of Commerce & these CEOs could get Trump’s attention. If they care about their customers, employees, & the community, they will demand the President pull ICE out before they kill more people on the street, before they terrorize more of our neighbors.

The atmosphere for people of color is akin to that for Jewish residents of Berlin in the 1930s.

YET THE ONLY THING THESE CEOs WILL DO IS CALL FOR “FOCUSED COOPERATION” AMONG POLITICAL LEADERS?

SHAME!

The explicit racial targeting of non-white people is appalling. It violates everything that these businesses claim to stand for.

They detain even preschool children, demand people show papers to prove they are citizens, they attack and kill people on the streets. They are roaming our communities looking for people to arrest because their darker skin leads some ICE agents to believe they don’t belong here.

These CEOs say they “have been working every day behind the scenes” with the White House?

And they think this blather is a bold response?

ICE agents are acting with cruelty, ignoring constitutional rights – brutally abducting the customers and workers of these businesses.

The ICE cruelty doesn't end.

ICE abducted this 2 yr old & her dad, rejecting the family attorney's attempt to get her out of custody, back to her mother.

The Strib reports they sent her to Texas, despite a court order.

ICE says it is arresting the "worst of the worst"

Proud of Minnesota's resistance to cruelty. Proud to join with a few of my colleagues in with the Interfaith Service at Temple Israel today.

It's bitter cold today, but countless kind, warm-hearted Minnesotans joined the statewide Day of Prayer & Fasting to get ICE agents out.

Here's a group at one street corner in Roseville this morning. When ICE abducts innocent preschoolers, people are willing to resist their cruelty.

ICE detains 4 Columbia Heights students, including 5- and 10-year-olds sent to Texas Columbia Heights Public Schools leaders addressed the ICE surge into the district, saying the community is "shattered."

Like so many other ICE actions: This is simply cruel!

Abducting an innocent 5 yr old preschool child & rushing him off to Texas is just mean.

Using our Somali neighbors who fled violence and oppression as pawns is immoral and disgusting, and puts their lives at risk.
