Typical. The first 2026 video game release I’m adding to my collection is a reissue of a 1993 port of a 1986 arcade game.
Slap Fight MD is notable for its arrange mode featuring a @yuzokoshiro.bsky.social OST.

One of my beloved games, Final Fight.
I was in elementary school back then, and didn't clear it for the first time until I was in college.
Today I played it again at the arcade mecca, Game Center Mikado.

Schildmaid MX is AMAZING but does require you play a little differently to how you might expect from a shmup - so here’re a few pointers to get you started

DFK is a pretty fun time, even learning the laser wheels wasn’t too bad. Getting into the Omote loop can be done on some very scrappy play, although seeing it out for a 2-ALL is gonna require some hard work. Here’s my current pb on switch & 360, 2-2 & 2-3, side by side. Onwards! #shmup #stg #dfk
