I am hoping this is one of those “from little acorns” ideas.

The stellar fold at The Guild Hall and I have been talking. We’re thinking of starting small. A few locked shelving units and display cases in the shop (they already have one display full of 40K stuff. Some of it mine!).

In my last posting, I gained extensive knowledge as to how small, specialised museums operate and the budget required. I have nowhere near that kind of spare cash.

BUT

Museum of Tabletop Gaming: for some time now, I’ve been harbouring an ambition to see a museum of tabletop gaming in Ireland (there is The Museum of Board Games in the uk run by lovely people).

My first paid writing job was for The Munchkin Book, 9 years ago today, and my first encounter with one of the kindest editors, and an utter good soul, James Lowder. 9 years later, and the portfolio is modest, but building - hopefully 3 before year end. I should probably start building a list! :)
