Barrhead Housing’s stellar support for vulnerable families and communities has been officially recognised.
Strong statement from @sfha.bsky.social as Scottish Government inaction on a key community fund leads to redundancies:
“We've warned the Scottish Government for some time about potential job losses, so it’s simply unbelievable this has dragged on so long."

In 25 years of covering national security, I’ve never seen a story like this: Senior Trump officials discussed planning for the U.S. attack on Yemen in a Signal group--and inadvertently added the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...

Work has started on the final phase of a 15-year regeneration project which will see nearly 60 new homes built in Glasgow. @glasgowcc.bsky.social
This report from @sfha.bsky.social and Wheatley Group on the experience of people waiting for a social home is essential reading. #HousingEmergency
Proud to launch this new report today, which puts the voices of people still waiting for a social home at the heart of the debate. As the Scottish Budget is finalised, we need to see safe, warm, affordable rented homes as an absolutely top priority.
Really pleased to see this report from Altair Ltd published by @sfha.bsky.social and Wheatley Group. Very grateful to those who shared their experiences with me - hope the research makes a difference to investment in social housing in Scotland so that everyone who needs a home can have one.
🏡 Still Waiting 🏡
Scotland’s housing crisis leaves 250,000 on social housing waiting lists.

Trump refers to the leader of our ally as “Governor Justin Trudeau” but refers to the leader of our adversary as “President Vladimir Putin.”
Councils spend £1.6bn a year on 'temporary accommodation' for homeless families - which includes some of the worst housing conditions in the country.
But who is getting the money? A joint investigation between me, Vicky Spratt and @sdelahunty.bsky.social tried to provide an answer...
My SFHA @sfha.bsky.social colleagues will be at #ScotLab25, and are involved in some excellent sessions on #housing, do say hello!
Glad to be joined on the visit by Tom from SFHA; Fit Homes are a real Highland success story and it's great to be able to share what we are doing well, amongst all the many housing challenges we are so familiar with.

Chris sits in his wheelchair on a paved section just outside his patio door in the background. Emma sits next to him on a garden bench, petting a young, black German Shepherd, who is looking towards the camera inquisitively with her head cocked to the side and ears up attentively. Both are grinning and look happy.
Seeing inside one of Albyn's Fit Homes has been on my wishlist for so long. Today, Chris, a tenant of one of these houses, along with his German Shepherd, Willow, made it happen and welcomed us into his house to chat about how much he loves his home.
