Colbert's Canceled Christmas: The Last Noel
Colbert's Canceled Christmas: The Last Noel YouTube video by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

No power for half of last week, so couldnt post this wonderful bit of holiday cheer. I had the absolute pleasure of contributing to this last, and maybe best, Late Show Xmas Special.

Offerman, Noem, Patel, Hegseth, Jacked Caillou, and the grossup of Trumps hand and cankles were my handiwork.

New illustration for Wall Street Journal that, sadly, didn't run due to editorial issues.
The GOP is being pulled in 3 directions- those who desire tax cuts, deficit hawks, and the base who rely on benefits.
Any day I get to draw an elephant is a good day. Thank you Alice Cheung for the gig!

Some recent experiments- playing with very limited palettes and dim lighting. All are about 7"x7" and in acrylic ink.

My piece for this year's Character In Context show. I'm in crushingly good company, with many of my heroes and overly talented friends exhibiting right next to me. It'll be a fantastic show!

Drawn in a linework style and muted late-fall colors, a pre-colonial Wampnoag man stands on a high rocky cliff, overlooking a village of traditional homes and out to sea where a European sail ship is visible in the distance.

I should have posted about this earlier but I illustrated a book about what life was like for the Wampnoag people and European colonists at the time of the feast later thought of as the first Thanksgiving.
