I’ll do what I can
Hello Mr. Harrison, Admiral Akaar tells me you need some help. I had a friend who captained an Excelsior-class vessel, hopefully I’m able to help.
Bones… it’s been a long time….
Bones?!
You as well
Will do, thank you. It’s good to see you again
Indeed.
I guess it has… and I’ve missed most of it.
Vox? Well this is a pleasant surprise! Yes, you were a fine officer as Azrel.
*he offered his hand*
It’s good to meet you, Deezell.
I’ve seen enough to agree with that
Maybe we will.
Thank you.
Thanks… I have a… life, to find a new version of
In the words of a friend, fascinating.
I think you’ve got good influences around you, and I wish you well.
But if you try to be the best officer you can be, I’m sure you’ll manage it.
You wouldn’t be the first Vulcanoid eager to be a captain I’ve met. Although she had a better poker face, heh.
Heh. I got a demotion for that one… although, it sounds like you’re familiar with a captain who doesn’t… entirely agree with regulations, or command. I’ve met Commander Kira, she’s got spirit, exactly what this era of Starfleet needs. Be careful what you wish for, things don’t… always go as planned+
So I’m told. I talked to Admiral Akaar and your mother. I figure it couldn’t hurt to… meet a fan

Are you Lieutenant Commander… Travis?
Risk is our business!
C’mon Spock, don’t you at least want to try it?
I’ll agree with you on “the worst”.
Will do friend, my apologies
That is a complicated story I will abbreviate thusly:
Section 31.
Q, on Earth we have a phrase; “don’t throw stones from a glass house”
Spock, look, that Romulan looked a LOT like her human mother, I was just trying to get to know the crews of our successor Enterprises
I’m told I have a knack for being unpredictable
Well, if we were talking about William Shatner I’d wholeheartedly agree with you
I love Spock! I mean… uhh… his insights have been invaluable many times.
Sulu never liked to call much attention to himself in the old days, he preferred to let his record speak for itself. Obviously it worked out for the captain of the Excelsior.
We ran into a lot of stressful situations, I won’t deny that… and I’ll admit that there are times I chose the comfort of having a friend nearby over what might have been a more sensible away team arrangement
Well that’s simply untrue, my senior staff are the greatest friends I’ve ever had.
