You know baseball is the most American of sports because before today’s Mariners game the headline was “Cal Raleigh has the day off” and then at the end of the game, the headline is “Cal Raleigh got the winning run”

In the UK, I had to return my crutches after I’d finished with them. In the US they gave me a brand new pair and now they live at the back of my closet… and if I ever hurt myself again no doubt they’ll still give me a new pair and charge my insurance/me for the privilege 🤦‍♂️
