I’m sure they need one. I’m not sure they deserve one.

I assume nobody actually believes this nonsense, but that someone in authority has said this in a public forum is beyond credible.

We have an offence in UK law of ‘conspiracy to pervert the course of justice’.
Just wondering if there is something similar in the US?

Surely they defend the territory by being part of NATO, or did I miss something?

A type of practice that I find interesting historically is the rigorously untrue. Astrology, for instance, was often a very tightly defined practice with a seriously requirement of learning: it just wasn’t actually real.

Women's Institute. An organisation for women in the UK. It's always been very conservative, but I had thought they were starting to enter the 21st century.
Seems like I was mistaken.

Never voted Labour in my life. BUT, I will if that helps to keep Reform out.
And yes I know how bad Labour seem at the moment.
But have to go for the lesser of two evils.

His "concept" of a Healthcare Plan is finally revealed. It involves eliminating the Insurance Industry & people purchasing their OWN, MUCH BETTER, HEALTHCARE. Unrelated, note his obsessive envy of Obama, historically rated 1 of our finest presidents, who he still believes was born in Kenya.

#sad 🤣

That's pretty much the exact ratio I'd have expected..

Man the state of American Christianity breaks my heart. It's never been great, but this seems a particularly dire era.

Vaccines are safe and effective.

Autism isn't caused by vaccines, and autistic people and their families deserve our support.

When you want information, ask your doctor.

It's more important than ever for all of us to speak plainly, truthfully, and directly about public health.

What we're fighting for could not be more obvious.
What's at stake are our lives or those of our loved ones.
It doesn't end until we win.

You are right, I didn’t consider N Ireland. But even so I still don’t remember that many ‘mass shootings’. Memory suggests bombings but either way any number is far too many.

That’s what science does.

Just saying.

Not wanting t get in an argument, but the figures for the UK seem unbelievable, speaking as a retired UK cop
I can remember two or maybe three in the last fifty years. I accept that I might have missed some, but so many?
I’d really like to see some detail, like what makes a mass shooting?
