DELIVERY MUST COMPLETE is now officially published by @tophatstudios.bsky.social!
It basically means we're engaged. I don't know if I can fit a fighter jet in a wedding gown but I'll try my best.
(wishlist game in pinned pleasee)

Posts by Clara Gale ✈️ NS 0.4.1 out now!
I've done more improvements to the city + added night time visuals.
Deluxe Poly but the toolbox is on the left side.
Deluxe Poly #wip - dpaint users of a nervous disposition, please look away 😅 I added a 'toolbox on the left' option, in case you prefer this side. #pixelart #lowpoly
Despite being WIP, an alarming number of people asked me how I made my city despite it being honestly in my opinion super basic noob stuff.
This compelled me to make a video explaining some of the finer details. Note that "slides" go by fast expect to pause.
Wrote an optimized city rendering system, still WIP so its full of blemishes. But I'm VERY proud on how it looks at the moment.
It only uses 1 material for the buildings.
The official trailer for Delivery Must Complete by Yoyoyollie premiered at Galaxies Spring Showcase 2026. This stylishly intense flight action game is in fact about delivering a package. #flightsim #indiegame #indiedev Yoyoyollie

If you look around the currently selected target, all the text is getting scrambled!
The map is scrambled too, but I managed to completely forget to open it when I was recording this video
This is one of the five regions coming to Nova Squadron in 0.5.0, but if you want to give 0.4.1 a swing while you're waiting, here, take this: store.steampowered.com/app/1826830/...
and also a Discord link so you can ask me why it's taking so long: discord.gg/YVdeju6zEw
Alright, back to our scheduled tour of #NovaSquadron 's Jupiter! Welcome to the Regio Obscurus, an area around the north pole permanently shrouded in a blue aurora.
It'd be beautiful if only it didn't mess with your plane's sensors.

Speaking of textures, I took a photo of some clouds yesterday because I was wondering if I could isolate them and turn it into a texture. Turns out it wasn't that hard, so I threw it on a particle system and was like, wow I accidentally made a half decent waterfall with a silly cloud texture.
One of our staff members frequently talks about the At Skies' Edge OC-12C. This semi-active air-to-ground missile hits targets so long as players keep the target in the HUD steering circle. This weapon seems to be inspired by the AGM-12 Bullpup. #flightsim #indiegame

Yeah, I didn’t bother with any of the others because even Amalthea is, like, 1% the size of Callisto!
Thanks so much! I understand the Sky Rogue comparisons and one day I will actually get round to playing it.
Maybe not “more matured” though, just…different.

Okay, I did the video game trend.
Ask me anything.
I'd say about 11 of these games have had a direct influence on Nova Squadron, so these are the culprits behind my incomprehensible game dev decisions.
Taking a moment to tell indie creators, that their creations evoke something has a big effect. It gives them the biggest boost in motivation.
Support someone today, whose creations you like, with a comment!
See, you’d think DirectInput support would be enough
But it doesn’t work properly with some HOTAS’s
and Unity’s actually kind of flaky with some parts of DirectInput as well (or at least it was a few years ago)
Great news! I have a HOTAS 4
HOTAS support is definitely on the list, but every one is different (and Unity Engine pretends they don’t exist) so it’s hard to guarantee 100% coverage for all of them. Which one are you using?
If you want a notification when "soon" happens, here's a demo you can wishlist: store.steampowered.com/app/1826830/...

Wait for it, wait for it...
Behold, the moons of Jupiter, coming soon to #NovaSquadron.
#gamedev #indiedev #screenshotsaturday
And finally, Callisto.
The one the CLE's headquarters are in.
The entire Jovian front in Nova Squadron is just to try and set up a forward base remotely near it, because there sure ain't any way to land on the moon itself when it's covered in so many turrets.

Speaking of Space Engine, I was curious just how close Space Engine would get to this. The SE screenshot was taken around the same time. It's pretty darn close! The real life moon is just slightly more colorful.
Moon's Farside in the Foreground, Earth Beyond NASA ID: art002e015228 art002e015228 (April 6, 2026) - Seen from behind the Moon during Artemis II, the Moon and Earth align in the same frame, each partially illuminated by the Sun. The Moon’s surface appears in sharp detail in the foreground, while Earth sits much farther away, smaller and softly lit in the background. A faint reflection in the spacecraft window is also visible, subtly overlaying the scene. Though their phases differ, both are shaped by the same sunlight, revealing the geometry of the Sun–Earth–Moon system from deep space. Credit: NASA
Looks like something out Space Engine. Amazing photo.
Onward and outward to the third closest Galilean moon, Ganymede! This is Jupiter's largest moon by far, and it's where Callisto Lunar Enterprise made their trillions in the late 2100's. Most of its population lives in (and expands) the subterranean honeycomb of ore mines.

it’s finally here
ace combat 3+1 (not to be confused with 4)

Hi there pilots! We just made the Supermaneuver steam page so you can wishlist it!
taking notes
Is Io flat too or just Europa?
Moon 2: Electric Boogaloo - now for Europa, the second closest Galilean moon.
At the time Nova Squadron takes place, there's a demilitarised zone around the Lunar Ocean Research Station...who have just (April 2283) found alien life 100 miles beneath the ice.

killing my main battle chuds with my evil rocket pods that i just made.
When I started this project I was actually super intimidated of making rockets. I just didn't have the knowledge to make them. Now, it just took a few hours with most of it spent modeling the projectile and pod lol
