If Royal Mail play ball, my 2025/26 season Oxford player shirts collection will be completed tomorrow.
Managed to grab my #rsd2026 wanted item whilst in the pub. Without my glasses. Hopefully only one copy arrives 😂
Probably spent too long in the pub tonight whilst daughter was at Guides. But Palace v West Ham. What a crock of shit. Two awful sides. Oxford would beat both. Hopefully WH win to help send Spurs down.
Can’t believe it was 40 years ago. Also hard to imagine it actually happened, despite being there.
Carpet of bluebells amongst the trees at Badbury Clump
Had a walk around Badbury Clump earlier.
Big Ben’s broken. On one side at least. #BrokenBritain
Mind blown tonight. Always wondered what happened to this kid I knew when I was about 13. That was about 38 years ago. Turns out we worked together at the local primary school PTA and I didn’t realise 😂😂😂 literally didn’t recognise him and don’t think he recognised me.
The highlight of the trip was obviously seeing this fucking massive rubber duck at Canary Wharf
James (the band) live at the O2 Arena, London
Went to the Millennium Dome for the first time last night. Saw James.
Bloody good show
Great episode. And what a lovely man.
Spotify choosing an unfortunate place to cut off the song name.. brings an entirely different meaning to the song 🙈👑💩
Still peed off with Portsmouth scoring in the 97th minute to spoil our superb win. #oufc
Quite like Robert Smith. Seems like a nice chap.
And one The Cure headlined Sunday night the only time I went to Glastonbury - 1995.
Been round the in-laws for dinner. And loads of wine. Ended up with The Cure live show on TV from 2018.
Don’t get how they’re so popular. I don’t dislike them. But they’re just really good background music. With the exception of 2 or 3 songs, you can’t dance to The Cure.
Gamers today be like:
"This game's raytracing sucks."
"Water physics doesn't look realistic at all
"The walking cycle is so immersion-breaking"
"Draw distance is only around 200 meters"
Gamers in 1982 be like:
"Oh hell yeah! It's a #StarWars Snow Speeder!"

It’s (another) very good issue. Think I’m about 3/4 of the way through.
I’ve been working in my current company since 2018. In that time I think I’ve had 2 “pay rises” both lower than inflation. Modern life is rubbish.
It's wild how many hours I've spent in VR, and how many different VR games I've played, and yet fucking about in front of a mirror in L.A. Noire remains the absolute pinnacle of my experience with the technology.

Fighting the urge to look at the online copy whilst I await delivery of my lovely physical copy
It’s made me notice that the original Switch is very noisy. Don’t recall hearing the fan on it before but it’s quite noisy.
Bit late to the party, but started Mario Galaxy recently. Quite enjoying it, but finding it a little annoying at times with camera angles.
L’Arc De Triomphe, Paris viewed from an open top bus.
Back yesterday from 5 days in France 🇫🇷. Disneyland Paris and sight seeing in Paris.
Rather annoyingly, Star Tours was closed which meant the Star Wars shop was also closed. For some reason, this meant pretty much zero SW merchandise in the entire park. Crazy and massively disappointing.
You used to be able to buy games almost anywhere.
But now gaming is mainstream, you can hardly find anywhere selling them.
