Tuesday 3 PM ET Tornado Watch is in effect for parts of Kansas and Missouri – including Kansas City – until 8PM CT! Gusts to 70mph and a couple of tornadoes are possible in the next few hours.

the last 30 days alone, less than 5% of normal rainfall has fallen across much of southern Texas.
By Thursday night 10-15” of rain could fall for some.

Los Angeles had more rain than they’ve had in ~9 months. Next few hours critical for burn scars (#hughesfire) Above 3000 ft snow making mountain passes (I-5, I-15) unsafe. If Phoenix does not get measurable rain , could break all-time longest stretch without,(160 days, 1972).
