I don’t want to turn you off the Studio if you had your heart set on it! Just sharing my experience with Mini + 8 years working at Apple (lots down-selling customers in that time) 👍🏻

I use Docker 24/7 for work and it’s extremely resource intensive but never had an issue. In fact, even my M1 MacBook Pro still runs really well. The M chips are insane. I got the Mini and will spend the difference between it and the Studio on a M4 MacBook Air. Mini -> Studio == iMac -> Mac Pro

I’d still be surprised if anyone outside of an actual movie studio couldn’t get what they need out of a Mini. It’s a beast. Ports…I think you get a couple of USB-A? This is what I got

Wouldn’t bother with the studio. M4 Mini + some upgrades is enough for most. That’s what I run everyday for web development + some audio and video editing.

Were we tactically inferior? For me it just looked like a lot of the squad were knackered, which is mostly what you were going on about the first time around, no? 7 first teamers out will hurt anyone.
