I'm glad some people are writing about it at least. I write occasionally on my blog. Not sure there is another platform for these ideas. Hopefully a bigger collective movement emerges.

Thank you. This is very thought provoking. Especially the ideas about dependencies and general purpose tools. BTW, Jaron Lanier and Cal Newport come to minds as people who've also written thoughtful and informed critiques of tech.
