A hateful thing to say. People whose approach to life is not faith-based have done enormous good, majority non-religious societies have been some of the strongest proponents of human dignity and solidarity. Why is the BBC just printed this unchallenged? If it's "news", it should be balanced.

So sorry! Missed an 'l' there, even checked, then got distracted 🤦♀️ @neillcameron.bsky.social it is. This is where an edit button would be nice. Apologies!

Loads of amazing authors including @jamiesmart.bsky.social and @neilcam57.bsky.social. My son loved reading them - and would often reread them too.
Have you come across The Phoenix comic yet? It's meant to be 7-14, so maybe he's still a bit young, but check it out when he is old enough. My son read it for years and loved it.
Reminds me of the Morlocks (from the 1960 film)...
Ah, okay. These books were from when my mother-in-law died. She would have bought a lot of them second hand, hence the different names. Your books are beautiful, I hope they find good new homes!
I recently tracked down (via the ancestry website) a distant cousin of someone who'd written their name a book in 1910 and sent it to her. She was pleased to receive the book. So if any of them have distinctive names and you fancy doing a bit of digging...

Absolutely. And I think most people appreciate that. Unfortuntely, that just hasn't been my experience on Twitter lately.
I think the author makes quite clear in the article that she doesn't. But the answers you often get on X these days when you try to have a debate is just playground level abuse - no exchanges of ideas to be had there anymore.

Unless she specifically woke you up to discuss it, then no, not too early. It's just a colour. Presumably she has already narrowed the choice down to the ones she likes, so you can't even go horribly wrong with your answer.

So here’s the update. The billionaire owner of the Guardian preparing to get rid of a core part of the news org + 100 journalists.
If you’re a Guardian or Observer reader, please share this. The need for a strong, free & independent press couldn’t be greater. Yet, here it is.
I've also noticed that they sometimes slip into starter packs. I would have assumed that people who put the packs together would check that the accounts are the real deal. So I don't "follow all" anymore.
Definitely odd too see Greenwich Park completely without people (apart from a lone General Wolfe at the back)💨🍃🍂
