Alternatively you can go to Brick Lane and walk around enjoying the graffiti art & fabulous South Asian food; we once took a foodie walking tour there, and ate like kings.

Otoh Camden Market is perhaps a more tourist-friendly spot to revel in delicious things & quirky mementos? Or Covent Garden.

And then after that you can keep walking and take in Shakespeare’s Globe, which is just lovely. And from there you can wander along to get a pint at The Mermaid, which is a pub where Shakespeare & co used to hang out, or you can cross the Millennium Pedestrian Bridge to potter around St Paul’s.

I always loved taking the tube to Waterloo and walking along the South Bank. You can also get to the London Eye from there, but I used to love meandering past the IMAX towards the National Theatre (idk if they still have second hand book stalls under the bridge?) & strolling down to the Tate Modern
