I know that goes above and beyond your question, but having a way to express myself as an older teenager and creating a character somewhat like me was a nice escape from real life.

Jaiden's was my teenage angst self; angry at his parents & wanting to be just like his dad...which's odd in a sense that his dad Rish (the original owner of CWF)'s full name is my own real name. Some originally thought it was a ripoff of Vince/Shane but most has been an extension of my own life.

When it comes to running a character; I could go back & read some old work, read some books that may bring inspiration or movies. Running a fed; somewhat similiar. I watch wrestling that would inspire me, read old CWF shows, etc.

Writer's block is hard but there's plenty of ways out of it.

Yep, there are still a few efedding subreddits. None of them seem to have a TON of traction, but it's a start. I've been posting advertisements and show highlights and stuff there to try to garner some interest up.

Sad. I've always seen this in the hobby, tbh, just seems like it was at a lower level than what's become more recent.

I think we need some kind of mega efed site going again, without the gatekeeping and bullying. No interfed stuff unless wanted, just information and ways to get our name out again.

See I didn't even realize that a lot of that has happened. I was kinda getting out of the hobby around 2019-2020 and at that time we were kind of in our own world, CWF was flourishing like never before and at least I certainly wasn't gatekeeping anybody. But from then till now something's happened.

I think that's a one reason. That & a lot of us grew up doing this from our teenage years right up to the age we are now. Most of the young people today would rather shout 6-7 or make tiktoks then write out a creative story. People still watch wrestling, there's gotta be a way to get them back.
