2026, the year that dared to boldly ask: What if Nero had nukes?
I’m sure Godzilla Minus One is getting surprise new scenes inserted so you can understand the next sequel… or is that just some nonsense Joe Russo and Marvel cooked up?
For an overseer, as God's steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain,

Joe Russo calls movies ‘content’ because that’s what they are to him. Inputs, outputs, engagement metrics. The guy isn’t fighting for film, he’s optimizing it.
He is not an artist.
Maybe we don’t call it a ‘singer’ if it doesn’t have vocal cords.Making a synthesizer reproduce violin sounds does not make it a violin.
For decades, economists gave short shrift to the idea of monopsony — a power employers can have to suppress wages. Now a wave of research suggests it's everywhere, and a new book argues it's key to understanding today's inequality. n.pr/4e0RHRi
I don't go to every movie expecting or even wanting high art. But I at least demand a modicum of integrity.
There’s a difference between a movie that knows exactly what it is and commits to it, and a movie that feels like it was engineered to check boxes.
One of my favorite things about "Pluribus".
Dune: Messiah is coming out the same day as Doomsday.
Guess which of the two I am actively planning to pay money to see in theaters.
The 1976 film "ROCKY" ends with the titular character and his opponent, Apollo Creed, agreeing that there would not be a rematch. In the sequel, they set up the rematch between these two in the first ten minutes. You can always tell the audience what they need to know for the movie *in* the movie.
I genuinely find it hilarious how the MCU is now where comics where in the 90s where they tried to make you buy five titles you didn't want just to understand the one you liked.
And to make Endgame, the 2nd highest grossing movie of all time, a "we added shit you have to watch it again" movie? LOL.
Between this, bringing back Downey and Evans, and introducing "Infinity Vision," you can almost spell Disney's panic and desperation. They need Doomsday to work or that Marvel plan needs to get leaner and cheaper in the future.
Really feels like we have reached the “squeeze every last cent out of the diehards before this thing dies” portion of the MCU
Love it... love it forever!
And Keith David narrating this trailer? *chef's kiss*

Adding new footage to an old story in order to "bridge the gap" is just cheating. Not technically a retcon if it doesn't contradict anything, but pretty close. Where's Annie Wilkes when you need her?
So anyway, when is the new Dune movie coming out?
If the new footage is "critical" to the story of Avengers: Doomsday, maybe they should have put it in Avengers: Doomsday.
If you ever feel like a dumbass, remember that someone wrote this for not accepting that some people don't like Zack Snyder and Michael Bay movies
“Politics sucks now because of Star Wars, superheroes and video games” has got to be one of the dumbest and laziest takes on this website, and that’s saying something.
And I say this as a defender of the MCU for much of its run up through Endgame, I liked that movie a lot. But early MCU understood that each movie had to stand alone. Telling me I have "homework" to do before watching a blockbuster action movie is the opposite of engaging.
I'm sure it's a ploy to try and juice the numbers for the Endgame re-release, but at least for me this is having the opposite effect.
I already wasn't going to see Endgame in theaters again. Now I know not to bother going to see Doomsday.

There will only ever be one Dr. Frank-N-Furter, and he is you.
There will only ever be one Tim Curry. Thank you for being that man. The world is a better place because you have been in it. Happy birthday, Tim, and thanks for everything.
Repost with your first crush (if you had one).
This is why I always made it clear to my daughter that my dumb shit, while meant to be respected, is never so precious that it's not meant to be enjoyed.
It's legit insane to me to collect comics for 20 years and not actually having, y'know... read one.
“Disney’s standards for production quality are second to none” is a hell of a thing to say after you've just shitcanned your visual effects department.
Happy 80th birthday to Tim Curry, voice of Dr. Anton Sevarius.
These aren't child murders. They're freedom killings for the Second Amendment. Don't worry, I'm sure Trump will say something incredibly stupid and probably mumble a Bible quote.
