a poster reads the following to introduce the reader to the plot hook of this event: there is a mysterious black letter with a seal of silver that appears to you by courier. this courier is one that doesn't seem to say much if anything at all. but this letter was meant for you. if you deny it, he will insist with a light nudge of the parcel. this letter invites you to come to the disclosed location in the empyreum. an address appears, though it is one only you can read. it speaks of a gathering full of magic, gargoyles, strange twists and turns of an estate. it tells you to wear a mask and don the colors of the shadows. for there, you will have no name other than the mask you decide to don. The mask you decide to show. the estate itself is saddled in an area of the empyreum that you're certain hasn't been there before. the estate looks abandoned, vines coiling stone and wood. it smells of flowers, though these are native to the shroud, strangely. steps take you to a mahogany door, one in which it opens up to a dimly lit space, red in decor and faintly opulent. a figure clad in black, a swallowtail or another housed here might welcome you, but if not, plenty of other masks await your presence all the same.
