Toronto shopping street

Toronto shopping street

Half of business owners on this Toronto street estimated that more than 25% of their customers arrived by car.

In fact, it was 4%.

And the % of customers who who walked or cycled? 72%.

Retailers routinely overestimate the # of “car customers.” Via @carltonreid.com www.forbes.com/sites/carlto...

If you haven't parked your hire e-vehicle like this, you've parked it incorrectly.
• on a 2m+wide footpath
• right along the street edge, NOT the building edge or (of course) in the middle of the footpath

If you can't park properly on the footpath, just park on the gutter/street please.

It’s exhausting to hear reporters lazily referencing the “unpopular carbon tax” while giving up on informing us that the reason it’s “unpopular” is the successful conservative misinformation campaign ignoring that it’s better than price neutral for people & is a bare minimum tool for climate action.
