The castle, mostly! The Spring Court is a very leisurely place, with hunters, artisans, and very specialized chefs. I do like the idea of the confectioners spending a few weeks carefully sculpting all the hunters, and then having them eaten in a few hours.
I’ve thought about this because I’m writing a red riding hood retelling. Aria doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth, her indulgence is wine and a slice of warm bread.
The fae realm still has subtleties (sugar sculptures). These are Hunter’s favorite and he’ll just eat sugar if they’re unavailable.
I’m Persephone. I mean, you are too. Descending into hell for most of your week and then popping back up to the surface for a couple days, breathing in the fresh floral air. I love spring, hate work, lol.
