What does data on #skills across #UKcities tell us?
While places with more highly qualified residents (🫐 blue) often have fewer with no formal qualifications (🌸 pink), the #dataViz shows the relationship is weaker than expected.
Ranking and composition reveal the outliers a scatterplot would hide.

While the average would paint a limited picture, the variation within cities reveals the true shape of inequality.
