Gov. Evers tours No Studios
Gov. Evers talks to folks at No Studios
Gov. Evers poses for a group photo with folks from No Studios
I met some really talented people in Milwaukee this week at No Studios to celebrate our newly created Film Wisconsin office and tax credit program.
Making sure we not only bring creative projects to Wisconsin but also support our local homegrown talent, must be a top priority.

Here is the User Guide for ELITE, the Tool Palantir Made for ICE
404 Media is publishing a version of the user guide for ELITE, which lets ICE bring up dossiers on individual people and provides a âconfidence scoreâ of their address.
New from 404 Media: here is the user guide for ELITE, the tool Palantir made for ICE. A map shows people on a map; ICE clicks them, brings up their dossier. ICE uses to find which neighborhoods to target. We obtained it, you can now read the document for yourself: www.404media.co/here-is-the-...

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

Targetâs share price falling year over year from almost $160/share to $87.85/share
we donât talk enough about how much Target and other companies who stopped diversity, equity and inclusion programs are suffering from their boneheaded decisions to prioritize placating MAGA over sound business decisionsâŚFAFO

Doesn't look like a guy "just doing his job" to me. Looks like a dude very emotionally invested in hurting people who annoy him in the course of doing his job.

From Wired a few weeks ago. A lot of the people who I was told for years were the adults in the room are being asked how they want to be remembered, and that answer is very clearly "cowards."

Frustrated little dude gripping a pencil saying âhow do I pack this down into something I can actually share?â While swirling rainbows labeled âINFINITE POTENTIALâ float around them.
Little dude frowns at a tiny grey box, exclaiming âall that work for THIS?!â
Little dude shoves the grey box into another little guyâs hands; Frowning, stomping off, and saying âHere you go, I made this, it sucks.â
Second little dude cracks open the box, swirling rainbows project out onto their face.
Second little dude stares in awe at all the swirling rainbows now floating around them.
Sometimes weâre unsatisfied with a thing we made because when it only existed in our head, we saw all the things it could have been and when itâs done we know all the things that it isnât, but we canât see the way it expands into a million new things when someone else unpacks it in their head. đď¸đŚ

The point of putting the military on the streets in cities isnât to âclean upâ those cities, itâs to heighten tension in the hopes that somebody takes a shot at them and gives an excuse for invocation of the insurrection act.

Zohran Mamdani's victory wasn't a one-off for progressives.
I'm currently polling just single digits behind the lead, even though I was a "long-shot" candidate 3 months ago. That's because people-first politics WORK and we can't do it without you:

Zohranâs results so far just show how tired Americans are of the status quo, how we need creative, people-first campaigning and governance, and why positive, progressive politics are the future.
Hate to get ahead of myself before results are called but Iâm so freakin happy right now.

not the main issue here but i'd really appreciate it if democratic politicians spoke out in support of big-city life and culture with the same energy and reverence that all politicians have for small towns
los angeles is "real america" and so are all the other big cities the president hates

worth remembering that when Trump announced a travel ban in 2017, people literally went to airports to protest. Eight years later, Trump announces a new one and it's not even front page news.
We're the frogs and the water is getting awfully hot.

I keep getting asked if itâs legal to spend our campaign funds on food drives or our high school public service grants and the answer is YES. It is.
Politicians and Democratic organizations need to use their coffers to help people NOW and fill in the gaps that Trump has created.

Not sure why they are always so off on use cases. Here's one that that would be cool - send your friend a video or voice note like a normal human. AI could transcribe and have links to things you mentioned.
It'll become a huge faux pas to use AI in peer communication without letting people know.
