I hope the $15 in the front pocket gets you something to eat if you’re hungry or something that makes you smile when you’re sad. I hope the advil soothes your aches, and I hope my shampoo, soap, deodorant and scrunchies give you a sense of cleanliness if you were in need.

To the person who stole my backpack this weekend… I hope you found something you needed inside. I hope my gym sneakers and gym clothes fit you, they are clean and comfortable even if not super warm.

Forgive my bluntness, but I spent the day at encampments trying to help good people survive in impossible locations. I’m wet and tired and angry.

I hope @camguthrie.bsky.social and others who push to criminalize homelessness in Guelph look outside during storms like this and imagine what it would be like to live in a tent.

Those are the people you’re forcing into dangerous areas away from support services and life saving resources.

Hey folks! Does anyone have leads on somewhere that designs leg prosthetics in Guelph or nearby? We have a community member who is an amputee and *urgently* needs a new prosthetic limb, and I am not sure exactly where to start to help getting her one.
