Email from United yesterday: “Yay! You’re among the first to get to use high-speed wifi from Starlink for free on your flight tomorrow!”
Text from United this morning: “Wifi isn’t working on your flight today. Sorry boutcha.”

My dissertation involved law and history (though the department’s historian and lawyer were both left off my committee)
There is clearly a Millennial woman in charge of the playlist in Denver’s United Club this morning. Getting deep cuts from Britney’s first album at the moment.
The hand placement on the shoulders has been killing me all day. Every time the picture crosses my timeline, I get the ick all over again.
If anybody with connections to any of the negotiators could convince them to share a copy of the draft they're working from today, I can think of some people who would be very appreciative
Worth restating
The members of the Triad trying to figure out who should act first
Sometimes I wish I had voting power for SARA policy modifications. Other times, I'm really really glad I don't.
Rulla's husband's mistress is getting sued for breech of contract for violating her NDA by trying to out herself as the mistress all over social media and tagging Bravo. LMAO!
Season 1 and RHORI is delivering.
"There have been reports..."
"We have heard..."
Ah yes. We love having "I have a friend of a friend" determining federal policy
Yes! This after his brief appearance on Selling the OC and dating Tayshia.
Honestly, in 2026, tracks that running for office was his next step after hitting 3 different reality franchises (on different networks)
Anywho, how about that Summer House drama?
Also, obsessed with Ladies of London: The New Reign.
And RHORI has me hooked (even if I can’t really tell them apart yet - besides Ashley I. who I know from her Bachelor days).

A note: In that small speech, he didn't include the "intellectual" modifier
"We're trying to promote diversity."
Oh? We are? I thought that wasn't allowed.
I really should consider WFH on NegReg days to keep my screams to myself
As we get into "compliance with civil rights and other laws," I feel like it's important to state that accrediting agencies are not law enforcement. It's not their role to assess or enforce compliance with state or federal law.
Heck, I was a "traditional student" in the late aughts, and was still paying taxes. Because I worked.
Despite the student negotiator's best efforts, many of the people on this panel still think that college students are 18yo, full-time students living on campus and chilling on the quad.
"Future tax payers"?!
Students. Are. Current. Tax. Payers.
I loved sitting next to her at NACIQI meetings (which wouldn't happen now given the new seating chart)
They way I get bombarded with Quince ads from every podcast under the sun
Gonna go out on a limb here and assume these tech fellas haven't considered state authorization as a thing they need to do once they start claiming to offer a postsecondary degree
Every time there's a new #NegReg, I have to apologize to those with offices near mine because of the constant outbursts emanating from my office.
Which should tell you how much restraint I exhibited while on NACIQI
That was the best Twitter. RIP
Today so far in sum:
May.
Should.
Shall.
Must.
Permit.
Recommend.
Require.
Statutory authority?
Lazy rivers and "pink elephant buildings." The amenities arms race has entered the conversation #NegReg

Ah. I see we’re still on degree inflation and DEI
On the ground and back to NACIQI. What did I miss?
Defending the seating arrangement that’s been implemented the last 2 meetings as “transparency” is a choice.
The published roster of members clearly states how they were appointed. A seating chart isn’t necessary for the public to know who was appointed by which party.
