Day 2: Outcast/Failure

Selling some of my Helluva Boss merch on Mercari for whoever is interested. I meant to do this a while ago, but life got away from me. Wasn’t looking for scalper prices…just want to make something off of them, as hard as it is to part with them.

On the flip side, Blitz gets to have someone in his corner, as well. They can help each other to heal. It’s already starting, and will gather the most of its strength in Stolas’s greatest moment of vulnerability.

Thankfully, he has Blitz to prove his affections for him. To support, love, and protect him, where he couldn’t before. To learn what it means to go beyond yearning, and to truly be taken care of by someone.

In his numb depression, he can’t yet see that he has been made free, and that his story, like the stars he makes prophecy out of, can be rewritten. And being alive means it’s not over yet.

“Always.” This single word uttered in his exhausted state hides the belief that whereas Stolas will always sacrifice himself at Blitz’s expense, he does not believe he will ever receive the same courtesy, and that he must bear the burden of knowing that pain.

He had accepted his death and that the sacrifice would be a better alternative to watching Blitz die; he never accepted being further despised and forced to live with everything he knows and loves torn from him, most of all his beloved daughter.

As beautiful as this scene was to behold, there is a sad undertone spoken beneath Stolas’s, “Always.” He is tired and he is broken, and he feels his entire world has fallen apart and that he has lost everything of value.

And now after almost losing him (in more ways than one), he’s able to assure him that he’s safe and sound, and that no harm will come to him. He’s there to protect him, to love and cherish him like he deserves. To allow him to be himself, and to absolve him of torment.

Stolas saved Blitz, and next episode, Blitz will save Stolas. And hopefully they’ll get to finally heal in each other’s arms without further obstacles getting in the way🤞

Just maybe he wouldn’t be able to perform mystic prophecies and what not… 🤔

Blitzø: Y’know what? I changed my mind. Go ahead and kill me now. *faceplant*

It seems there is a mass collection of available (and easy to acquire) demonic weaponry on Earth, as evidenced by Emberlynn’s working pendant. And that sword (or rather, dagger???) is looking pretty ancient 😂🤔

Wait, is Blitz going to break into D.H.O.R.K’s lab next episode using the Asmodean crystal and steal their amassment of weapons to help rescue Stolas from Andrealphus?

This platform is fun! I feel a lot more talkative and at ease on it 😊

Can Stolas potentially learn magic without the use of the grimoire? I mean, Sinners seem to possess some quantity of magic, and Loona was able to read spells from the book despite not being born into it. They can take his power and even his demon form, but he still has a hundred years to relearn it.

When we finally get a confirmed, leaving no way for doubt “I love you” out of the two of them, it’s going to be the most sappy, heart-filled tear-jerker moment ever to exist in animation since 1908 (or 1906 depending on who you talk to).

Watching Mastermind is making me want to write post-sopping affectionate, cozy domestic fan fiction 😂

For once, he got to claim a win, and he ran with it completely and with total abandon, repercussions be damned 😭

Blitz opened his home to him without question, not even once hesitating. Blitz’s apartment is small, cramped, and covered in remnants of his past traumas and regrets. But he didn’t even care in that moment. He was just so relieved to be alive and have his bird home with him 😭

Blitz’s lips on his cheek, stroking his hair, smoothing along his jawline. Or even before, with Blitz holding his hand, bathing him, looking at him with complete love and adoration, and being so gentle, so understanding and patient.

I wonder when Stolas will reach past the point of dissociation and realize not only the significance behind why Blitz’s face is covered in every photo on his wall, but that he selflessly gave up what amounted to his bed for him….or if somewhere in his subconscious, he’ll recall this moment.

Oh, the silent, mutual pining that’s about to happen between the two of them 😍
