There aren’t any age restrictions yet in EU countries or across the EU. When those laws come into force then it may be an option to prove your age. I no n longer fully stay on top of age assurance laws since it’s no longer my area (thankfully)

Not my area of expertise. I did raise it from a user experience perspective but the ways the laws are defined doesn’t really have carve outs for visitors etc… not like we know who is a resident or citizen

That was a problem flagged in the creation of the verification program as inevitable. At the end of the day no matter what app affordances and messaging you add, people will still make the assumption that verification = endorsement. All we are saying is it’s the legitimate account.

TBH I also don't see dev verification as central to, or even a job for the verification program at Bluesky. When they decided that they wanted a verification program, my focus was entirely on authentic, credible, and notable accounts. Devs are often smaller pseudonymous accounts on atproto.

agreed on the frustrating differential between the two on voice transcription. Anthropic's has improved a bit in the past few weeks, but tbh I've been doing voice memos, taking the transcripts from apple and pasting them in as a workaround when I'm on the go.

Ah I don't think I've really watched that show at all. TBH I have next to zero exposure to Bluey as well. Probably comes from living in Ireland, which comes with everything gender coded for kids - pink and princess for girls, and blue + trucks + dinosaurs for boys.
