Spider from the Avatar movies
Spider - #1 white boy with dreads of all time. Would like to hang with this guy on Pandora.
"Cinema per second" haha I love that
Is it true that @philbraun.bsky.social filmed some motion capture for the new one but was CUT from the movie?
There are few better moments than when a movie is starting and the Universal logo and fanfare hits #ItsMovieTime #Popcornclassics
Yeah there was some weirdness going on yesterday with fandango and amc. They didn't actually go on sale until this morning.
@jlalibs.com Lincoln square is getting Kill Bill in 70mm!
Count Dracula? The Transylvanian nobleman?
Something must be done about the dangerous lunatics, haters, and punk trash in charge of the VistaVision debacle at Regal Union Square.
STRANGE 69 dolphins jersey
Got to see it in 35mm last October at a 24-hour horror marathon. The movie has such incredible atmosphere.
Yeah, the screenshots look awful. Happy to hear Shout's doing their own restoration.
Minor correction - the cover art isn't AI. It's some sort of old alternate art. They used it for their blu-ray release in 2014.
Jimmy? No way! Bring back Jay!
Watched Eephus and ate sunflower seeds. Good.
Much appreciated!
Opening credit text for the movie White Dog, which says Music Composed, Orchestrated and Conducted by Ennio Morricone
One of life's greatest pleasures: putting on a movie and seeing this in the opening credits.
Just the Yankees. They like to think of themselves as the classiest organization in the world.
I get these for so many movies now (mostly A24 and Neon) and I just can't believe this is the type of ad anyone is receptive to
Rick Dalton played "Agent" in To Live and Die in LA. Tough look for a former leading man.
Lynch's influence on music was arguably just as profound. He brought dream pop to network tv with Julee Cruise. There are modern threads of ambient, dreamy and industrialized music that bear his fingerprints. This was evident in the Return. "Twin Peaks" feels like a sprawling genre of music.
Lynch is the greatest filmmaker ever to me. Probably my favorite artist of all time. The only person I've read multiple books about and by. One of a handful of famous people where I often thought about how gutting it'd feel when they died. RIP to the legend.
