A woman smiles in the direction of AOC in a photo in which she is making a gesture at RFK Jr that lets him know that he is both a moron and a dick.

I had my first baby 6 months before COVID & my second 2.5 years in, & I basically didn’t go anywhere but the grocery store and our child-care bubble for 3 full years.
Second baby got COVID 2 weeks before he was eligible for the vaccine. It broke something in me.
I’ll never forgive them.
It might actually be an understatement!
I love when people lump women (>1/2 the population, source of life itself) in with fringe groups like … vloggers
Theres also the female gaze of it all—you know, the part where when Paul Newman is on the screen, you simply cannot fathom the existence of any more beautiful man across all of human history.
I’ll do you one better:
How do you define “Jewish”?
“separation of powers nonsense”
How much of the “learning styles” myth do you think is just a misunderstanding of sensory integration disorders/differences?
(E.g.: I cannot intake information aurally. I need accompanying text or it will not stick. Also have to watch people’s mouths when they’re talking or I can’t “hear” them.)
The beermom erasure is blatant
You want me to cross a BRIDGE? For a PARTY?!?
Fair, but this person is talking about doing like four 10-hour drives in a week.
OTOH, if you’re gonna pick a region for it, Great Basin ain’t bad. (I did a solo cross-country road trip along the “northern route” when I moved from Portland, OR, to Brooklyn, NY in 2008. Unexpectedly meditative.)
Western Europeans are also functionally New Englanders when it comes to road-travel perceptions (i.e., they think anything more than an hour away is “far”), so I don’t even think this kid can gauge how unenjoyable 10 hours in a car really can be.
They should be required to play the Oregon Trail at least twice before planning their U.S. road trips.
I worked at a minimum-wage airport café for like a week in 2005 (only job I’ve ever quit without notice, over the phone), and I honestly can’t imagine most of them passing the background check for *that*.
I am so blindingly furious at Bibi et al. for actively trying to make the rest of the world unsafe for Jews (to force us to accept their tautology), but I’m even more furious at people here for fucking falling for it.
I like that there’s another cat in the room who’s just like, “Yeah, whatever, man, you are so f’ing extra.”
I genuinely don’t understand why Democrats are incapable of turning deranged boondoggles like this into weeks-long, policy-reversing, resignation-inducing scandals.
If the mind is flat, then what’s taking up all that space at the top of his head?
thanks Obama
OTOH, the leftmost elected politician in the U.S. is effectively center-right by French standards.
I guarantee you every good reporter at WaPo is desperately seeking an exit plan—increasingly difficult in this time of mass news death. They’d be better served by your support of small, independent news organizations, giving them solid places to land once they’re fired or laid off from the Post.
“It can’t make that much difference to you” is one of those lines that plays over and over for me
I believe this is also, deep down, why they hate AOC
“Polarization is good. That’s when you have clarity.” 🧨
What the hell is Carrie Mathison doing in this fever dream?
Perhaps you should donate it to the Harper’s Weekly Review, where it can bask in the glory it deserves.
