Donald Trump does not have a "mandate" for any of this He's hardly the first president to claim he represents the people's will—or God's. But he might be the most brazen.

Donald Trump won less than half of the popular vote—which, given the turnout, amounts to less than one-third of registered voters. His margin of victory was the tightest since 2000, the fourth tightest since 1940.

So no, despite everything Trump claims, he does not have a "mandate" for any of this.

Went to Anora last night and I liked it…GREAT performances, several laugh old loud moments, and swoony romance movie shout outs including lonely lady savior Paul Henreid.

I think I need a rewatch to get why this is a best of the year. I wanted more…but perhaps that’s also the point.
