Join us in person/online tomorrow evening.
This ‘skymonkey read the book last night and it is a real treat (not really a surprise as @katrionachapman.bsky.social has long been a favourite in the County)

Sad news this morning - long-time County artist, writer and playwright, Peter Poole passed away on the 4th March after a serious illness
Peter was a genuinely nice person with a gentle air to him and a great and busy artist - I always enjoyed finding him in the library
Our love to all who knew him

Huh. It was Great not Greta

(a personal observation by this ‘skymonkey rather than a County ruling)
Terry Pratchett’s ‘A Slip of the Keyboard’ reminds us that every critic and publisher expects a putative author to be a reader of books. But that clearly does not hold true for Comics. Shouldn’t it?

Cover to David Robertaon’s For The Record zine

A quick recommendation for a comic we just loved from @fredeggcomics.bsky.social

Enjoy the artist’s memories and be sent off reminiscing yourself: c120s recording John Peel; tape-2-tape; picture discs; a life in vinyl.

Happy days.
